Darby's 4th of July
4TH OF JULY AT DARBY'S
We’d only just recovered from our 7th birthday celebrations… and now we’re straight into the next excuse for a party.
Join us on Friday 4th July as we bring a little taste of the American South to Darby’s. Think smoky barbecue, shellfish, frozen Irish coffees, live music and our terrace in full summer swing.
We’ll have New Orleans-inspired music from late afternoon onwards, plenty of outdoor seating and the terrace open all day for walk-ins. Whether you’re dropping by for oysters and cocktails in the sunshine or settling in for ribs and a few frozen Irish coffees, we’d love to see you.
On the menu...
We’re bringing back one of the biggest hits from our birthday weekend: Mark O’Brien’s legendary pimento cheese, served alongside whiskey picklebacks.
Fresh off the smoker will be our applewood-smoked baby back ribs, cooked low and slow for five to six hours and finished with a Louisiana-style spice rub.
There’ll be Creole-inspired hot dogs, packed with bold flavours, alongside crab and lobster sliders, our DFC chicken with Cashel Blue sauce and pickles, freshly shucked oysters and plenty more specials throughout the day.
And while they might not be traditionally American, our Frozen Irish Coffees have earned their place on the menu. Think of them as something you’d happily stumble across in a great New York neighbourhood bar.
Summer at Darby’s
No bookings are needed for the terrace—we’ll be welcoming walk-ins throughout the day.
Good food. Great drinks. Live music. Summer in full swing.
More details on the music line-up will be announced soon, but for now save the date, bring your mates and come celebrate the 4th of July with us at Darby’s.
